Free Number Tracing Worksheets โ Printable PDF
Free printable number tracing worksheets 1โ20. Dotted lines with directional arrows. Preschool and kindergarten ready. No signup, instant download.
Writing numbers is harder than writing letters. There are only ten of them, which sounds easy, but each one has to be recognisably distinct from the others even when a 4-year-old draws it wobbly. A '1' that's slightly curved looks like a '7'. A '6' and a '9' depend entirely on which end is up. The only fix is practice.
This page collects our free number tracing worksheets โ 1 through 20, with dotted lines and directional arrows. Each number gets its own section with a demonstration, several dotted-line traces, and blank practice space. The lower-number sheets (1โ10) are designed for ages 3โ5. The higher-number sheets (11โ20) are for kindergarten and early Grade 1.
Pair tracing practice with our Counting Stars game for quantity recognition and Connect the Dots for number-order reinforcement. All worksheets are free, print-ready, and safe for classroom use with no license or signup needed.
